  3. I have this Lp for many years. I don't like the sound of any of his CDs made with the quartet (Bruford, Stewart, Brelin/Holdsworth or Clark) and the remastered CDs are even worse. In all of them or the sound was too processed or is stuffy, but even if I decided to buy this version of The Bruford Tapes/5(25).
  4. BILL BRUFORD The Bruford Tapes (Fully autographed Canadian 9-track LP, also starring Dave Stewart, Jeff Berlin & the 'unknown' John Clark on guitar, who plays so fluidly in the Holdsworth style that some fans thought it was Allan!vinyl is in excellent sketirublarinu.amistethumbfuncverrojuboljanecra.cor this copy is very special, this has been fully signed on the back in blue pen by Bill Bruford [as Billy], Dave Stewart.
  5. Which isn’t to say the experiment didn’t produce some very interesting results; “Fainting in Coils,” “Beelzebub” and “5g” are monsterfull. So if fusion gets your motor revving, The Bruford Tapes (or his first two albums) might be the nuclear batterymate you’ve been looking for.
  6. The "special material" handed over to me was a CD, titled "The Bruford Tapes" (EG Records pressing). This rare CD is actually the live album of Bruford band's "Feels Good to Me" and "One of A Kind", broadcasted live from "My Father's Place", Roslyn, New York on WLIR (FM), in summer It was recorded on a two-track equipment.
  7. Fainting in Coils! " [ it is followed with a soft repeated keyboard chords in crescendos; continued with the entrance for full music play]. It seems like Bruford's speech replacing studio version's narration by SAM ALDER, ALICE ANTHEA, NORMAN TAYLOR and THE MOCK TURTLE BILL BRUFORD/5(13).
  8. disc two: the bruford tapes 1. hell’s bells 2. sample and hold 3. fainting in coils 4. travels with myself – and someone else 5. beelzebub 6. the sahara of snow – part one 7. the sahara of snow – part two 8. one of a kind – part two 9. five g manacles.
  9. Bruford Rules The Roost With His Inimitable "Pong" Rim-Shot Sound And Droll Stage Patter, And Dave Stewart's Keyboards Especially Benefit From A Heavier, Slightly Overdriven Stage Sound. Stewart Gets "Hell's Bells" Off To A Rousing Start, And His Piano And Hammond Sounds Nicely Embellish "Fainting In Coils"; Not To Be Outdone, Jeff Berlin.
